Permanent installation “Tear” at Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA), Finland
As the third artwork by Furbacken, the EMMA-museum has aquired the site specific piece ”Tear” which has been installed by the new Luova space on 2nd floor. Furbacken’s video “Concealed Sceneries of New York” has also been acquired during the autumn of 2025.

Furbacken is exhibiting his works at Eskilstuna Konstmuseum , having been awarded the Carl-Axel Valén Art Grant.
The Romantic Eye

During autumn 2024 several works by Furbacken and other contemporary artists were displayed alongside the 18th century masters in this acclaimed exhibition by curator Carl-Johan Olsson.

Furbacken’s extensive public art project was installed 2023 at Ålsta Förskola along side with Maria Johansson’s pieces.
With a total of twelve sculptures and two wall photographs, this public art commission by Järfälla kommun inspires the new generation to discover and value their local ecosystems.
